Ms. Block concentrates on immigration and nationality law and is a longtime member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

She began practicing immigration law in San Francisco in 1995, and handled immigration matters in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area before relocating with her husband to New Bern, North Carolina. Ms. Block has counseled clients on wills and powers of attorney since the 1980's. She received an AB from Stanford and her law degree from UCLA School of Law.
